I've had a good week here in bella Italia and tomorrow my wonderful boyfriend is coming for a visit! I am therefore sure that I will have a wonderful weekend and hope the same for you!

Ich hatte eine gute Woche hier in bella Italia und morgen kommt mein wundervoller Freund M zu Besuch. Ich bin somit sicher, dass ich ein bezauberndes Wochenende haben werde und wünsche euch dasselbe!

Quiche!

I'm obsessed with quiche these days. It is so easy and so yummy and you can basically use everything in your fridge. 

dough:

250g flour

150g butter

1 egg

1 spoonful salt

filling:

vegetables/ meat

200g cream

2 eggs

cheese

Just prepare a dough and put it into a quiche form. Fry or cook some meat/vegetables and pour them on dough. Prepare mixture of cream and eggs and pour over. Finally add some cheese and bake for approx. 40 minutes! e voila!

Ich habe meine Liebe zu Quiche entdeckt. Es geht einfach, schmeckt köstlich und man kann fast alles verwerten, was man im Kühlschrank hat!


Teig
250g Mehl
150g Butter
1 Ei
1 TL Salz

Füllung:
Fleisch/ Gemüse
200g Sahne
2 Eier
Käse

Forme einen Teig aus den Zutaten und drücke ihn in eine Quiche-Form. Fleisch und Gemüse kannst du anbraten/kochen und dann auf den Teig geben. Verrühre Sahne und Eier und gieße über die Füllung. Am Ende noch etwas Käse drüber, ca. 40 Minuten backen und fertig!

Anyways, the week was split in sunny wonderful days in Trieste and rainy stressful days in Germany... Right now I just look forward to the weekend, maybe a vino and some pasta would lighten up my mood.. And always Harry, he somedays will rescue me from all the muggels out there - they just don´t get me ;-)

Oh du großartiges Internet, wie viele Möglichkeiten du uns bietest... während ich vor einer Weile durch die Internetwelt surfte, bin ich auf eine sehr begabte junge Frau gestoßene, die wunderbare Wallpaper/ Images macht. Man findet Cassidy Kelleys Art auf Pinterest... lasst euch einfach ein wenig von den Worten auf ihren Designs begeistern... 

Jedenfalls, es war eine gespaltene Woche für mich. Die erste Hälfte habe ich noch im sonnigen Triest verbracht und die zweite Hälfte dieser Woche, bestand mehr darin sich im Nieselregen abzuhetzen... aber gut, ich freue mich auf das Wochenende, vielleicht auf ein bisschen Wein und Pasta... Und weil Halloween ist, darf Harry natürlich auch nicht fehlen, ich weiß genau, er wird mich irgendwann von all den Muggel dort draußen retten ;-)

Life begins after coffee - Trieste Coffee Festival

What could you need more, than sitting in a beautiful sunny city with your best friend by your side? YES, a coffee festival right there! Gosh, that night, I could´t close my eyes neither could I fall asleep, I was so pushed by all the caffeine I had while attending the coffee festival... But it was tasty, strong, black, with milk, sugar.. there was just everything you wished for!

We started with black arabic espresso, switched to cappuccino, later, walked around to loose all the energy and started all over again! I guess, we can be happy to have survived this caffeine injection!

To get an idea of the festival, we brought you a couple of pictures!

Was könnte man mehr im Urlaub brauchen, als eine zauberhafte und sonnige Stadt, die man mit seiner besten Freundin besichtigen kann? GENAU, ein Kaffee Festival genau vor seinen Füßen. Es war wie ein einziger Kaffee-Traum, der mich jedoch die halbe Nacht wachgehalten hat... Diese kleine Koffein-Überdosis hat mich und wahrscheinlich einige andere Festival Besucher bis an mein Energie Limit geführt... Aber der Kaffee war sehr schmackhaft und in allen Varianten zu haben. 

Wir starteten mit einem arabia Kaffee, gingen über zu einem kleinen Espresso, weiter zum Cappuccino, einen Late, um dann ein paar Runden um die Häuser zu ziehen, damit die überschüssige Energie ein Ventil fand und starteten dann wieder von vorne. Ich glaube, wir können sehr dankbar sein, dass wir diese Koffein Injektion überlebt haben!

Um einen kleinen Einblick von dem Triester Kaffee Festival zu bekommen, haben wir natürlich ein paar Bilder angehangen!

Not quite back yet... Trieste, day one!

My body arrived yesterday around five, but my heart still sits in the sun in Trieste and drinks coffee with my best friend on earth...
We had just a lovely time together. I am not sure yet if we managed to see everything in the city, but time was short, and we needed so desperately to catch up on talking, talking and of course talking..
Our little vacation in photos (day one) ... thanks Bambi for a wonderful getaway! I was desperately in need of vacation and best friend time...

Mein Körper ist gestern gegen fünf wieder in Deutschland angekommen, aber mein Herz sitzt immer noch mit meiner besten Freundin in Triest in der Sonne und trinkt Kaffee...
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit, auch wenn ich nicht sicher bin, ob wir alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt gefunden/gesehen haben! Jedoch konnten wir viele sonnige Stunden und leckeres italienisches Essen genießen und uns stundenlang unterhalten.
